Head Coach - Harvey McIntyre ( 1999-Current )

  Harvey McIntyre begins his 21st year as a coach of the Blinn Buccaneer Baseball Program and his 14th as the head coach. In 2014, the Blinn Buccaneers earned a trip to the NJCAA World Series and finished 5th in the country. Coach McIntyre, also was honored with the NJCAA Southern District Coach of the year, Region XIV Coach of the year, and the Diamond ABCA Regional Coach of the year awards. During Coach McIntyre's coaching career at Blinn, he has coached, 9 All Americans, 195 players who have moved on to 4 year Universities, 42 players & former players who have been drafted, 9 of which have been drafted in the top 10 rounds of the MLB draft, 47 Academic All Americans, and 13 teams that have been recognized as National Academic Teams of the year. 
  Coach McIntyre is a Brenham native and a 1995 graduate of Brenham High School.  He began his college career at Howard College in Big Spring under Brian Roper (1996-1997). He transferred to Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA, and played baseball for the Demons (1998-1999) under Rob Childress, Sean McCann, Dave Van Horn, and John Cohen. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in General Studies and, after graduating, he played for the Alexandria Aces in the Texas-Louisiana Independent Baseball League during the summer of 1999.  In 2000, he joined his mentor and friend Brian Roper at Blinn College.  While coaching, he received his Master of Education Degree in Health and Physical Education from Prairie View A&M University in 2005.  Coach McIntyre is a Health Instructor at Blinn.

  Coach McIntyre is a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Brenham Booster Club, Heritage Society of Washington County, involved in the Brenham Maifest Association and has served as President and Vice President of the Texas-New Mexico Junior College Coaches Association. He is also a Soccer Coach for the Washington County Youth Soccer Association, a Football Coach for Brenham Flag Football League, and a Baseball Coach for Washington County Little League. He married the former Reagan Robinson of Brenham in 2003.  They have a daughter Emma Kate, 15 and a son Cooper Robinson, who is 10 years old. Coach McIntyre enjoys playing golf, hunting, watching college football, and spending time with family and friends.

Assistant Coach - Jordan Kopycinski (2013-Present)

Coach Kopycinski (Coach Kope) has been an assistant coach for the Blinn Buccaneers for 8 years.  He assists with the catchers, outfielders and hitters, while coaching 3rd Base.  Prior to Blinn, Kopycinski was the volunteer assistant at Rice University under the legendary Wade Graham and was also the volunteer assistant at Texas State University.   Koycinski joined the Bobcats' staff after a successful playing career at Texas State, that included two conference championships and all-conference honors as a catcher.  In 2006, he was drafted to the Los Angeles Dodgers. 
Jordan earned his bachelor's degree in excerise sports science from Texas State in 2010.  He is married to Jenny Luedtke of Burton, Texas and have a 9 year old son named Grayden.

Assistant Coach - Mario Eramo (2019-Present)

Mario Eramo enters his second season as the assistant baseball coach for the Buccaneers.  His playing career began at Blinn College (2008-2009), where he was selected as a Texas-New Mexico Junior College All-Star Game. Mario transferred to Pennsylvania State University, where he continued a successful baseball career, playing catcher, right field, and designated hitter. His senior year, he was the team captain for the Nittany Lions. Prior to coming to Blinn for coaching, Mario spent five seasons at Frank Phillips College as a volunteer assistant coach (2012-13), an assistant coach (2013-2014), and head coach (2014-17).  Mario also spent time as a coach and trainer at the Legion Transformation Center in West Chester, Pa. (2017-18).
Mario earned his bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts and Sciences at Penn State in 2011. He met his wife, Kate, while attending Penn State. He and Kate reside in Brenham with their four dogs, Bindy, Doug, Sage, and Elmie.
